About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the Tech On Bit website and purchase of our digital services. They should be read with our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds policy and the written scope or quote for your project. Mandatory rights under applicable law continue to apply.
Quotes and order acceptance
A project begins once we have agreed the scope, price, payment arrangements and required materials and have confirmed acceptance. Submitting an enquiry or an unconfirmed order does not by itself guarantee availability or a delivery slot. If there is a pricing or scope error, we will clarify it before accepting the work.
Scope and changes
The accepted quote or order describes deliverables, formats, features, quantities and included revisions. Additional pages, functionality, images, concepts or changed requirements may affect the price and schedule. We will seek approval for changes before carrying out extra chargeable work.
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate instructions, usable source files, necessary approvals and feedback within the agreed schedule. You must have authority to share and use the content, images, logos, access details and other materials supplied. Share access through an appropriate secure channel and only grant the access needed for the task. Do not send login passwords in public messages.
Payments and milestones
The quote or invoice identifies the currency, amount, taxes where applicable and payment schedule. Work or delivery may depend on receiving agreed payments. Let us know promptly about a disputed charge. Any suspension for overdue payment will be communicated, and refunds or cancellation requests are considered under our Returns & Refunds policy and applicable law.
Delivery, feedback and revisions
Delivery dates depend on the agreed scope, complete materials, access and timely feedback. Delays or changes may require a revised schedule. Review deliverables and identify specific issues against the agreed brief. Revision allowances and review periods are set in your quote; they are not unlimited unless expressly agreed. Silence alone does not remove rights relating to defective work.
Ownership and licences
You retain rights in the materials you provide. Unless a different written agreement applies, rights in final custom deliverables created for your project transfer after full payment to the extent we are entitled to transfer them. Pre-existing tools, reusable code, fonts, stock assets, plugins and other third-party components remain subject to their own licences. Source files and editable working files are included only when stated in the agreed deliverables.
Website, hosting and third-party services
Domains, hosting, email, plugins, payment gateways and advertising platforms may depend on outside providers and subscriptions. Their availability, policies and charges are outside our direct control. Ongoing maintenance, backups, renewal management and post-delivery changes are included only where agreed. Confirm who is responsible for each recurring service before launch.
Marketing and results
We aim to perform the agreed work professionally, but search rankings, ad approvals, conversions, revenue and other commercial outcomes depend on many factors. No specific business result is guaranteed unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise. You remain responsible for approving claims, content and campaign budgets relating to your business.
Acceptable use and confidentiality
Do not use our services for unlawful activity, infringement, deception or harmful content. We may decline or stop work that would breach these requirements, explaining any payment adjustment for work not performed. Confidential project information should be handled for the purposes of the engagement. Any special confidentiality or portfolio-use permission should be recorded in writing before work begins.
Problems, cancellation and liability
Contact us promptly with project concerns so we can investigate and, where appropriate, correct the work. Cancellation and refund requests follow our Returns & Refunds policy. Each party remains responsible for its own conduct to the extent required by applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Updates and contacting us
We may update website terms for future use. An accepted project remains subject to its agreed terms unless a change is mutually agreed or required by law. Questions, complaints and requests can be submitted through the Contact page or your customer support ticket. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking available remedies under applicable law.
